MARCIA RAMIREZ


Marcia Ramirez started playing piano, singing and writing songs as a young girl in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Pursuing her passion for performing and her dream to become a professional musician, Marcia made the move to Nashville after graduating from Ouachita Baptist University.  Upon moving to Nashville, Marcia began performing with several country music artists as a back-up singer and musician.

Some of the artists Marcia has worked with are Patty Loveless, Rodney Crowell, Pam Tillis, Tanya Tucker, Lee Ann Womack, Bill Anderson, Linda Davis, and Deborah Allen. 


As a songwriter at Friday Records Music, Marcia frequently writes with some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters, including Liz Rose, AJ Masters, Tim James, Anna Lisa Graham, Jim Beavers, James House, Lisa Brokop, Jim Reilley, Billy Montana, Patricia Conroy, Melinda Schneider, Kaci Bolls, Fred Wilhelm and Stephanie Lewis. Some of the artists that have recorded Marcia's songs include Jo Dee Messina, The Whites, Rachel Williams, Lisa Hendricks, Sonya Lee, Chelsee Oaks, and Brit Savage.
